No parking in Shorewood Hills.

1. When did the no parking rule start?

Town Ordinance 6-2: Driving Regulations, prohibits parking on specific town roads "when signs are erected" on those roads. Parking in the Shorewood Hills neighborhood has been prohibited for many years, and there were no issues. In 2013 there were issues, and the rule needed to be enforced. In order to enforce, signs had to be erected. So, the rule started a long time ago; it's only the signs that are new.

2. What if I am having a large gathering at my house? Where do people park?

No problem. Simply call the Town Clerk 920-648-5867, or the Chief of Police 920-648-1944 and give the address and date of the gathering. Your guests will not be ticketed for parking on the street. We do ask that vehicles not be parked on the street overnight. There are no street lights or curbs in Shorewood Hills making it especially dangerous to have vehicles parked on the street at night.

3. What if I am having work done on my house, or I am moving and service vehicles need to park on the street?

No problem. Simply call the Town Clerk 920-648-5867, or the Chief of Police 920-648-1944 and give the address and date of the gathering. Your workers will not be ticketed for parking on the street.
