NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at an election to be held in the Town of Lake Mills on
April 2, 2024, the Town of Lake Mills Town Board will seek elector approval authorizing the Town of Lake Mills Town Board to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $2,400,000 for the construction of a new Town Hall.
The question will appear on the ballot as follows:
Shall the Town of Lake Mills Town Board be authorized to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $2,400,000 for the construction of a new Town Hall?

EXPLANATION
A “yes” vote means that the elector approves authorizing the Town of Lake Mills Town Board to issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $2,400,000 for the construction of a new Town Hall. A “yes” vote only relates to the general obligation bonds. The purchase of land and construction of the new Town Hall, and sale of the current Town Hall, will be questions presented to Town Electors at a duly noticed Town Electors meeting.
A “no” vote means that the elector disapproves in authorizing the Town of Lake Mills Town Board issuing general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $2,400,000 for the construction of a new Town Hall.
