The Town of Lake Mills has begun ditchmowing on all Town Roads. To assist with this we ask residents and property owners to remove yard signs, decorations, garbage, and any other obstacle posing a hazard to mowing efforts from the road right of ways immediately as the Town mowing service is active now.
These items create a hazard for the mower, potentially can be a safety hazard and create garbage debris along roadsides if hit by the mower.
We also would like to remind property owners that if you need a bulk garbage pick up, you are required to call John’s Disposal to schedule a pick up. Click link below for information.
Please follow the instructions provided by Johns as to when to place the bulk items at the roadside for the pick up. Bulk Garbage left at the road side for long periods of time is not allowed and will be addressed by the Town as necessary. See Town ordinances below for additional information on these issues.
